Volunteers will be invited to workshops (for example in circus and theatre skills), and cultural performances and festivals organized by the cultural organization behind the Institute. This is an opportunity to really become part of and assist in a self-development process. Accommodation is provided by the Institute.

Minimum length of stay?

Three months, but longer prefered.

Volunteer tasks?

Volunteers will teach adults and young adults English and will have the opportunity to assist grass roots oorganizations working on issues to do with women, health and so forth.

Ananias Villar Institute is a vocational training centre in a marginal district of Lima reknowned for its neighbourhood organizations. It focuses on courses such as Child Care and Cultural Promotion, which reflect the community’s needs.
